Studying Some Stems

Shorter day for me today, but I am going to study some stems.

I already know the SATINE root, but today I'll try to learn ten more:
  • SATIRE
  • RETAIN
  • ARSINE
  • SENIOR
  • STERNA
  • TOESIN
  • ORATES
  • REASON
  • INSERT
  • TONERS
What is a stem?

A stem, in this case, is a six letter combination that easily lends itself to a bingo with whatever the seventh tile is. It is important to study certain stems that are filled with common letters and thus very likely to be on your rack. The #1 stem is SATINE because all the letters are common, and it is extremely likely that you can bingo with whatever the seventh tile is in your hand. In fact, you can do so with SATINE + any letter except Q or J. For example if the seventh letter is a B you can play BASINET or BANTIES while if its a K you can play INTAKES. Studying stems is an easy way to learn common bingoes that appear in your hand.
